Christopher G. Otten is originally from Hoboken, NJ. He came to New Orleans to attend Tulane University in 2001. In 2005, Chris graduated from Tulane with a B.S.M. in Legal Studies, German, and a minor in Political Science. In 2009, Chris earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans, College of Law. While in law school, Chris was a member of the Loyola Moot Court program, winning the Stetson International Environmental Law competition. He also finished in the final four in the NYC Bar National Moot Court competition along with his incredibly talented brief writer and Glago Williams teammate, Katie May.

Prior to joining Glago Williams, Chris worked in the insurance defense field, where his practice was primarily focused on health care and professional liability issues. A member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas, Chris is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Chris has been honored as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2019 and again in 2020.
