Katie May is a native of New Orleans.  In 2006, she graduated with honors from LSU with a B.A. in Political Science.  In 2009, Katie earned her juris doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.  While in law school, Katie was the brief writer for Loyola’s National Moot Court Team.  She won first place brief writer at the regional level, and the team ranked in the Final Four at the national competition in New York.  Upon graduation, Katie received the Order of the Barristers.

Prior to joining Glago Williams, Katie clerked for Judge Avery at the United States Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges.  She has also worked in the insurance defense field, where her practice was primarily focused on general maritime law, personal injury, and insurance coverage issues.  A member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and New Orleans Bar Association, Katie is admitted to practice law in all Louisiana State Courts, the Eastern District of Louisiana, and the Western District of Louisiana.
